I purchased my Turboant Ranger R1 on sale in January. Assembly was easy and it was ready to ride after a few minor adjustments. Bike is well built & battery easily comes off to lighten transport. I love the pedal assist and throttle-level zero is a bonus. Ride was comfortable & I had no problem going up hills. Max speed I achieved was 20 mph on level 3 or Max throttle. Full battery range TBD. This is a feature rich bike with alot of bang for the buck.

The bike was pretty easy to assemble except for the front fender. It didn't fit right; I can see how someone would put it on backwards. The power when riding is great! Hills are no longer an issue.

I received this bike and tried to put it together. The frame and wheel did not fit and it was bent. So I had to return it. I’ll say that the return process was actually quite simple so that’s why I’ll give 3 stars. I’ve since decided that I want a regular bike and not an electric one.

Took a chance on a company I had never heard of (TurboAnt) and so far have been happy with the Ranger model purchased as a Christmas present for my son. Only minor issue I had was a squeaky front wheel that was ultimately resolved with the application of a little grease behind the bearing dust cover.
I own one other eBike from a larger, well known brand, but the Ranger surprisingly held it's own even with the smaller motor/tires. One note I will make regarding the Ranger model in particular is that in my opinion it is better suited for someone smaller in stature than myself (6' 180pds). If you are an adult male I would like at one of the other models. For a teenager or average size woman the Ranger is ideal.
That being said I will absolutely consider TurboAnt for any future purchases.

It is a good ebike! It has no suspension so definitely can’t take a bump! Need to change the grip and wear padded gloves to avoid shocks. Seat needs padding as well. But in high assist mode, you climb any hill like a flat land ! Throttle can help when you are tired or just want to sail. Low noise from motor is good too! The front light is ok but you can add your own for a more powerful way guide at night. Brake light is a good add on that I like. I’m 5’11 and I can ride comfortably on it. The gears are ok .. no complaints. Overall, You will definitely have fun.

My package arrived in horrible condition. It looked like it fell off the back of a truck. It was torn, punctured and taped back up everywhere. Probably not turboant's fault. Miraculously the bike wasn't seriously damaged except for a bent front rotor, bent front drop out, and bent front fender. I was able to fix all this myself but it took me much longer to set up thank the average person

Lots of fun to ride

The Turboant is an excellent electric bike for the money.
There are only 2 things I am going to change.
1 the seat I need a wider seat .
2 the handlebars need to be higher so I don’t have to lean forward.
Other than that I love it

The R1 electric bike is very fast when it comes to speed; the electric bike has a range of 35-60 miles with pedal assistance of three levels. I used this electric bike on a rough road, and from experience, all I can say is the ride was smooth all the way. however, there is one I have to suggest, I hope this bike has a front basket that can carry anything from a phone or books.

I never thought that e-bikes can be this efficient until I got myself the Ranger R1. A simple e-bike with a lot of potential which has greatly impacted my health and commuting. I feel that anyone needs to own one especially if you are tired of dealing with traffic.

I just received my Ranger R1 bike a couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is, the bike is worth all the penny. The body is well built. Its tires are puncture resistant. The contours of the bike make it comfortable for long rides. When it comes to speed, the bike runs powerful and faster.
Customer B
I rode on a dirt road recently and was a bit disappointed in how bumpy the ride was. for the commute road, that's more than enough. I had to replace my original display, the support team responded me so fast, thanks.
Todd
You should take the back mudguard off, it looks like my grandma's bike. Other than this, the bike is cool.
ZoeyDean
A high quality bike worthes my bucks. Very high range on one battery charge with the pedal assist set to 1.
Marvin Woolf
what i like is its well-built body, sturdy materials, classic retro look, performance.
Antony Lattimore
The battery never reaches 100% charge. It stays at the current level unless I use the bike, in which case the battery depletes very fast and loses power within a hour or so.
Oscar Micah
Ride for several days, feel performance seems to be great. would like to try uphill afterward.
Corey L
I do have concerns. the customer service representative really cleared my worries. We enjoy our bikes, and the performance seems to still be great. Again, we love our bikes.
Cruz Innis
I ride it to work. after a whole day long work, the ride truely relaxes me and help to wind down. I got the back basket and it holds my papers, lunch, and even room to stop by grocery store. all in all, a good helper.
Elmer Mac-
I have to say this is a great investment! The customer support has been great, and I'm looking forward to more hundreds of miles on my Ranger.
Badhasa
I like everything about this bike so far. But will you guys consider add a rack on it so I can carry my gf as well?
Ralap
Though I loved my new bike, I don't know why the battery came separately, wait one more week to receive it, I finally got my first ride, that's fairly good
Sam Sam
The bike looks like a regular sporting mountain bike, but runs much more powerful than one with its motor. A very satisfying buy at Turboant.
Christine Tsang
The bike is great! I don't usually use the throttle becuase I still want to work out a little bit on my way to work. But the weight of it(plus the battery and sometimes my bag, laptop, etc.) can be a bit hard to ride onto hills purely on manpower, and that's only when I twist the throttle. The bike gets an immediate thrust from behind and it gets super easy to climb onto hills. Very much as advertised.
Tough_Truck_9060
My Ranger R1 is my second ebike. Everything about it is far better than my last one.I ride for fun and run all my errands with it. I can even do some heavier shopping. I am going to test if I am able to take some longer trips. It rides smoothly.
Raj
I just want to say it works perfect on hilly areas.
Gerrit T.
This is the bike my husband has he has ankylosing spondylitis he can ride his bike and comfort it doesn't bother his neck he doesn't bother his back and we can ride for quite a while absolutely love them best investment ever

I've been riding more and farther than ever. So cool!
Jackie
So this is how I'm using the product: usually I don't hold down the throttle, because I was hoping for a little bit of wrok out,(the bike is a little bit heavier than traditional bike without battery) so on flat road I ride manually, but when there's an uphill or what I'd use the power and there you go. Very matter-of-factly advertisement on their website.
Josh
Nothing that I want to comment on its performance cause it's good, but I don't really like the battery which is external and looks a bit bulky for me.
F.
Fine...not bad...easy to handle...the user manual is well-written...
Benjaminwithher
I bought the bike after reading some online reviews, so far most of the contents are matter-of-factly descriptions. So I'm thinking maybe I'd also buy a scooter for my girl, it looks like a decent product.
Kyle Kim
overall is good, met my expectations for it. I hope it could last as long as possible.
Chuck B
well the advertisement says it's good for commuting and everything but i actually rode it for a bit of trip (on a mostly flat road) to my friend's, worked well.
Terrence
a great tool to work really!!! Faster than public transportation!!
Darwin
slim bike made for commuters like me.
Yousseff
cooler and faster than a traditional bike
Gloria
Turning on and off is a no-brainer, the light is okay, could shine pretty far i mean. Would be nice if there is a rack in the back so i can carry someone as well.
K. Hanson
The best bike that I've ever owned. Very sturdy construction.
James z
easy to set up, looks sleek, runs fast and steady
Tural
I live on 4th floor without elevator, so it's still a bit heavy for me to carry upstairs, but managable.
Isacc
I like their typical black and red color combo, it gives me strength.
Joey
I ordered it as a gift for my son for this 16th birthday. Didn't tell him what it was until the package came yesterday. He wanted an e-bike for a long time. He definitly likes it! Now checking their scooters and thinking about getting one for myself too.
Radenko
This was a nice piece of equipment! I now use it to do pretty much everything. If you are lazy but still want to go out sometimes, buy this bike.
vizzzzzzy
Got it last week only got time to try it today. not bad, but it's better on flat surface i think.
Micthanial
Ease of use and assembly. felt stable when riding and the acceleartion was fast. overall the bike was not bulky for transportation, at least for my weight.
Davidcc
Totally recommend it! came better than I expecteded to be honest. Time for a round !
Prince L
There's this long and newly built road from my home to work. a perfect place for ridding!
Charles Baker
My wife loves this, however we did have a problem with it but seller was AMAZING! Seller went above and beyond to help fix the issue- I was surprised how responsive they were. Thank you!
Gabriel
28mph!!! this is a fast electric bike I was looking for. I ride much more than with typical bike. I haven't seen any drawbacks on this bike, keep the good work.
Julian King
Incredible and easy ride bike exceeded my expectations! Price is great and easy controls to master. I love it !!! Have a lot of fun with it, will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
Grayson
What a great bike for a commuter! Nice price for a great ride!
Ronald
This bike not only performs very well, but the design allows for a comfortable riding experience. The design also makes maintenance simple and fast. After owning this bike for a month I have cut my gasoline costs in half by commuting to work on my R1 bike.

I bought my R1 bike so that I could ride to work. It has worked great from day one and I really look forward to my trips to work. Quality and workmanship are excellent. My neighbor is considering buying one after riding mine.
blue21sg
Great combination of power and style, and cost -effective!
Gabe Bult
She liked this Ranger R1 so much, both the height and the weight of this ebike, and it was very friendly to her. Weekday riding is relatively light.
Emily Chow
The price and the performance of this ebike is a good deal, I ride it to work, go grocery shopping are very convenient. Maybe you can have a try?
Mark
Good build quality. It feels sturdy and the battery lasts longer than I thought.
Bella
Couldn't ask for a better commuter bike. It's fast. The battery lasts. Highly recommend.
Daniel
Turboant was very easy to work with. The Ranger R1 has great power and battery life. I love the bike! I have added several locally purchased accessories to the bike to suit my needs. and I have to say this beauty is 90% assembled, this saved me a ton of time to assemble parts by part. and It came with all the tools I needed. I am so happy!
50 miles is the longest I have gone on one charge. I''m so happy with it. I rode it home in the dusk and found it a comfortable ride. The battery is on pedal assists mode even uphill. Battery support for hills is really great. If the hill is a bit steep just use a bit more battery support. On the flat or shallow hill just cycle or use the throttle, and use pedal assist mode if you need it. I’m very happy with the bike and with Turboant service
Also, I'd like to say thanks to the Turboant customer service team for dealing with my issue.
J.K.
Not like the ones on amazon. Great buy and nice customer service team. Thank you.
Maverick
This is a great bike!!!! To be honest, I hesitated to buy the folding ebike or the city bike at first, but I chose this one at last. I came into a small issue, the cords rubbing against my front tire.. but, not the bikes fault. The bike is fun to ride. It took a bit for me to understand when it would give me power when I wasn't expecting it and what to do about it, in order to be safe.
I did some research before, comparing it with other city bikes. This got a powerful 500w hub drive motor, which is sufficient enough for my commute and other remote errands. now that I know how to use the power and when to turn it off or use the accelerator button.... I have full confidence in my ability to ride safely.
I tried to go with a nice manual bike, but it just wasn't fun enough to ride, lol.
