The transaction went fine. I'm mostly happy with the two scooters, but there are a couple of areas that could have been better. First, in the description of the refurbished scooters it says that they will "have minor appearance defects such as small scratches." The displays are almost completely covered with scratches, to the point where they make the displays hard to read in certain light. I think they should have been replaced. The scooters' condition seems to be fine, although they could have been cleaner. They had quite a bit of dirt showing under the fenders that easily could have been removed, and the dirt on the tires turned the styrofoam packing black. I would expect a "refurbished" scooter to have these things taken care of. Otherwise, I think "used" is a better description. The phone assistance has been good. I tried emailing a simple question about the battery and the person who replied didn't understand the question so I rephrased it and tried again. The next reply was no better so I gave up and called. The call went fine. Overall, I'm glad I bought them.

We got the refurbished unit and it might have as well been new so no complaints. The only minor issue was I got this to both to give my wife something to ride with me and to be able to occasionally use it’s battery to ride mine further. Unfortunately the refurbished unit has an old style battery compared to my newer battery. The plug ins are different. I wish they would’ve pointed out this potential incompatibility. I just can’t win it seems.

Only concern is that battery life seems to be less than advertised, but to be fair, it is in the 30's and 40's here in NY, and I know that low temperatures can affect the charge.
