I give you 3 stars ,it's true the model was tough and nice,but for the inside there are too much troubles! You have to change the controller very often,the headlight and the horn are doing a weird noise even though you turn off the scooter! I had the X7 pro ,it didn't give me such problems! After the second week i bought the scooter ,it started giving me trouble! I don't think it's a scooter you can use in your daily life activities!

On assembly the handlebars couldn't be mounted straight. Had to loosen and retighten stem to get them straight. Odometer would be nice to have as well as cruise control. A little sluggish on pickup.Rides nice and handles well. I like it.

Surprisingly Simple Assembly. I was prepared for a project, but the R9 was incredibly straightforward to put together. It took me just 15 minutes from unboxing to being ready to ride. A fantastic first impression!

At first glance it isn't all the impressive but I have to say I was very impressed with the ride. I wanna do a few more speed tests but I got mine up to 28 mph. That's going on a slight decline. The first model they came out with would automatically decrease your speed when you went over 21. WIth this model I can hit 24 on a flat with no wind resistance, that's insane for this price point. Theres no other e-scoot on the market for this price point with this quality. I went with turbo ant because they have great customer service and they are reliable. You have a customer for life.

Love my R9. Well worth the money!!

So I went almost 3 years without a scooter due to an accident I had due to a faulty stem on a different brand scooter that made me lose control, and disc brakes that were hard to maintain. It was a high end model that cost me 3 times what the r9 sells for. Yes, it had suspension and more range and more speed, it even had an odometer. Before that scooter, I owned 3 entry level scooters with no suspension, lighter, solid tires and I wanted a faster one but I ended up wanting the crazy scooter that would ultimately leave me unconscious with 27 stitches in my head. I'm telling you this because, riding a scooter is such a joy in my life and I was hesitant on buying another one after what had happened and it had been so long since. But, the turbo ant r9, is a fast scooter, with a fairly powerful motor that allowed me to cross from NJ to Staten Island over the bridge at 18mph up and I'm 195 lbs, it's got a solid build, and maintenance free drum brakes that respond, and also the stem is solid and I don't see it ever being an issue as it's one piece. Add the suspension, which needs to brake in and maintained with silicone spray, and the turbo ant r9 has restored my faith in riding. I have riden over 1500 miles on the previous scooters, and after not riding for so long, it's a part of me that I'm happy to have regained. From my experience, 25 mph is fast enough trust me and this model actually goes past that. Stay away from disc brakes, stay away from stems that collapse in two before you fold, and always remember to wear a helmet. The r9 has the speed, the build, the safe brakes, and a motor that brakes downhill keeping you at your setting, turn signals, a good horn, and the best led light ive had on a scooter for a price that's reasonable. I couldn't be happier to ride again, and I'm glad that I chose turbo ant new 2025 model. This is an honest review from someone who regained his scooter wheels. Thank you Turbo Ant! ❤️

The combination of those big 10-inch tires and the front/rear suspension is magic. You barely feel cracks, cobblestones, or gravel. It makes every ride comfortable and safe. No more jarring vibrations!

No Bluetooth or app. Handlebars a bit hard to fit in the trunk. Acceleration left me a bit underwhelmed. But other than that it’s a solid scooter which gets the job done. Just wish it wasn’t made in China.
