Love this scooter!! It lacks just one thing: the ability to lock it when my kids take it to school. Ideally this would happen through an app or via NFC to quickly disable it. That would be really cheap and easy for engineers to add, too

I love this thing! I weigh 210 pounds and have no problems reaching the speeds a much lighter person (in the info on your site) achieved. The rubber deck on the standing area was “bubbled” when I received the scooter which was a little disappointing, but I manage. Also, I didn’t realize the r9 doesn’t have cruise control and I wish it did. My other Turboant scooter has cruise and I use it whenever I ride. Actually, in my opinion, cruise control is more useful than blinkers (turn indicators). Don’t get me wrong, I really love the r9.

I compared pretty much every brand out there before the decision. TurboAnt is by far the best value for money electric scooter I found. I ended up buying two, one for me and one for my wife. I was switching between the two speed modes while riding. I weigh about 180 lbs, and there were a lot of people and other scooters bikes on the path, so I stayed in medium speed mode, even then, it felt plenty fast. Once I got to a quieter stretch, I switched to high speed mode. And wow, it was really, really fast. Easily hit 28 mph. Battery life is solid. Being able to switch speed modes while riding is a great feature.

3rd gear is seriously fast. 2nd gear is smooth and comfortable for everyday riding. Small hills? No problem. Longer or steeper hills slow it down a bit, but I'm not exactly light, so that might be part of it. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this scooter.

It's an overall great electric trike the only issue I had with it was the delivery of it the delivery the box it was in was almost completely destroyed it looked like somebody punched a hole through it then just covered it with some sort of clear tape and the tail light was damaged so the right blinker I believe doesn't blink at all the plastic housing it was cracked all the way around on the right side the brake light itself works completely and fully

We live in an area full of goatheads, so we were nervous about getting pneumatic tires. So far so good no punctures and the ride is still super smooth. Compared to solid tires we've ridden before, these absorb bumps way better. You still feel the road, but it's not jarring. Makes a big difference on longer rides or rough pavement.
